Planning an Event Tea Party Thank you for considering
Lisa's Tea Treasures for your party. We will do our best to make it
a memorable experience and hope you will find the following helpful.
Please allow two hours for your party. There will be a charge for
going over that time period. Our lovely tea rooms are furnished in
Victorian style and the tables are set with linens, bone china,
silver, and a beautiful centerpiece, so additional decorations are
really not necessary. You may, of course, bring party favors and
balloons - please, no confetti. Upon prior request we will be happy
to provide a gift table if space allows. Selecting your menu ahead
of time allows you to focus completely on your guests and to enjoy
the festivities. It also goes a long way toward helping our staff
better serve you. We ask that you select one tea plate from our
menu, one per guest. Most hostesses choose our ''My Lady's Respite''
which has the greatest variety (see menu for details). Also
pre-selecting your dessert and two teas is a must for groups of this
size. We do not have a liquor license but we would be happy to serve
champagne or wine that you provide for a charge of $10.00 per
'average size' bottle. Please call to confirm your reservation a
week before your party with your pre-order at that time. The last
confirmed number of attendees, 48 hours prior, will be used to
determine your cost. Parties reserving our entire tearoom must
guarantee 45 paid guests regardless of the actual number of
attendees. Should you have a last minute ''no show'' we will package
their food to go. We do not require a deposit but do require a
credit card number to hold your reservation. If it is a no host
party we must have a single payment at the end of the party. Our tea
plates include dessert and we will be glad to provide a birthday
candle when appropriate. Our desserts are substantial but if you
choose to bring a cake, in addition to our dessert, there is a
cake-cutting charge of $2.00 per person. Children's parties are
booked at the last seating Saturday or Sunday and any time during
the week. We are looking forward to serving you and hope to hear
from you soon. | |
